Endemic to New Zealand, the Tuatara is a reptile separate from the lizard family. The species evolved 200 million years ago and has remained largely unchanged since then. It has a 'third' eye at the top of its head to assist in light and movement detection from above, adding to its sensory experience.
This piece is cast in solid silver and has an antique finish to bring out the carved detailing. Comes with 23cm long silver cable-chain necklace.
